For the 2018-2019 school year, Acton academy Beaumont will begin with an Elementary Studio, a single room where students age 5-11 (K-5) will learn together and from each other.  We will grow into a Middle School Studio (ages 12-14) so our oldest students can continue to lead the school.  Acton Academy Beaumont is a 5 day full-time school.

To provide a student-driven learning environment for the 21^st century.  We seek to bring up a generation of doers-leaders, creators, innovators, entrepreneurs and discoverers.

• Children are capable of far more than what traditional schools ask of them.
• Learning to learn is more important than learning to know.
• A child’s curiosity is precious.  Curiosity should be cherished, protected, and encourages.
• Children learn more doing and discovering than sitting in a desk doing busy work, and preparing for tests.
• Subject masterey and commitment to excellence is more important than letter grades.
• Every child learns differently and at their own pace.
• Each child is the protagonist in their own Hero’s Journey.
